Are these 24 oz glass cups leakproof?
A 24 oz glass tumbler with lid and straw for iced coffee. CapCup is designed to prevent leaks when the components are correctly fitted, the main lid is seated and the small cap is fully closed. Our own upside-down demonstration shows no visible spill in that closed position. Protect the glass from impacts during carrying.

What is the lid made from?
A glass cup with a clear PC main lid, PP CapCup, PP straw and silicone sip tip. Follow the assembly steps below for this lid system.
How should I assemble it?
- Wet the silicone sip tip before installation.
- Insert it into the opening and make sure it is fully seated.
- Insert the PP straw and press the main lid evenly into the glass rim.
- Close the CapCup completely, then check the filled cup over a sink before carrying it. To remove the main lid, stand the cup upright and open the small cap first to release pressure.
Cleaning & everyday use
The set is labeled dishwasher-safe. Separate the small parts, secure them in the top rack or a dishwasher basket, and let every component dry fully before reassembly. Check the shape and fit of each part before reuse; replace damaged components.
Use this model for cold, non-carbonated drinks. Protect the glass from impacts and keep the cap from being knocked open while carrying. Incorrect assembly, damage or an open cap can cause spills.
Frequently asked questions
Is it completely leakproof?
The lid system is designed to prevent leaks when correctly assembled and fully closed. Our own inversion demonstration showed no visible leakage in that position. An open straw-drinking position is not the sealed carrying position; this is not a promise against spills in every condition.
Can I put it in a bag?
Yes, the design supports bag carrying when every component is correctly fitted and the main lid and small cap are fully closed. Check the seal over a sink first, protect the glass from impacts, and keep the cap from being knocked open. See our glass cup carrying guide for closure and cup-holder checks.
Will this glass cup fit my car cup holder?
The handle-free cup has a listed base diameter of 7 cm / 2.75 in and an assembled height of 25 cm / 9.8 in. Compare these with your holder's usable width, depth and clearance. A 24 oz capacity does not guarantee a fit in every vehicle.
Is this an insulated or plastic-free tumbler?
No. CapCup is not insulated, and a closed lid does not prevent condensation. The cup body is glass; the main lid is PC, the small cap and straw are PP, and the sip tip is silicone. Choose it for cold drinks, not for all-day temperature retention or an entirely plastic-free assembly.
Does this lid have a separate silicone gasket?
No separate gasket is shown or named for this model. The silicone component identified in the current product image is the sip tip.
Is it dishwasher-safe?
The set is labeled dishwasher-safe. Secure small parts in the top rack or a basket and dry all components completely. Check components for damage and a secure fit before reuse.
Can I use hot or carbonated drinks?
Use cold, non-carbonated drinks with this model.
