Are these 24 oz glass cups leakproof?

A closed CapCup lid for your everyday cold drinks. Our demonstration shows a correctly assembled, fully closed cup turned upside down without visible leakage. Close every component before carrying; keep the cup upright and away from electronics. This demonstration does not establish extended-duration or loose-bag performance.

What is the lid made from?

A glass cup with a clear PC main lid, PP CapCup, PP straw and silicone sip tip. Follow the assembly steps below for this lid system.

How should I assemble it?

  1. Wet the silicone sip tip before installation.
  2. Insert it into the opening and make sure it is fully seated.
  3. Insert the PP straw and press the main lid evenly into the glass rim.
  4. Close the CapCup completely, then test the filled cup over a sink before carrying it.

Cleaning & everyday use

The set is labeled dishwasher-safe. Separate the small parts, secure them in the top rack or a dishwasher basket, and let every component dry fully before reassembly. Check the shape and fit of each part before reuse; replace damaged components.

Use this model for cold, non-carbonated drinks. Do not place it loose beside electronics or valuables; accidental opening, impact, or incorrect assembly can still cause spills.

Frequently asked questions

Is it completely leakproof?

The product is designed and labeled as leakproof. Our owned inversion demonstration showed no visible leakage when the cup was correctly assembled and fully closed. We do not yet have a documented extended-duration or repeated-cleaning-cycle result.

Can I put it in a bag?

Check that every component is fully seated and test the filled cup over a sink first. Loose-bag performance has not been verified, so keep it upright and away from electronics or valuables.

Does this lid have a separate silicone gasket?

No separate gasket is shown or named for this model. The silicone component identified in the current product image is the sip tip.

Is it dishwasher-safe?

The set is labeled dishwasher-safe. Secure small parts in the top rack or a basket and dry all components completely. Check components for damage and a secure fit before reuse.

Can I use hot or carbonated drinks?

Use cold, non-carbonated drinks with this model.
